There are many strength building activities that are not necessarily what you would see as exercise - digging, carrying or lifting all count.
Break up long periods of sitting as often as possible by taking regular breaks and walking somewhere - break it up into three 10 minute walks during your day!
Make sure you get to put your feet up at some point too! Rest is also important to recovery, particularly if you are on your feet or on the go all day every day.
Getting the benefits of moderate exercise is not about big workouts and exhaustion. Try getting in extra steps throughout the day. Go for a walk around the block at lunchtime, meet other families for a walk around the lake or take the stairs rather than the escalator at the shops.
We know it can be hard to do 60 minutes of activity a day - so start with 10 minutes once or twice a day and build your way up.
