Playing with balloons can be fun and active for all ages. Join the kids in a game of punching, kicking or throwing balloons and keeping them off the ground for as long as they can.
Increase the intensity and length of your physical activity sessions gradually. If you go too hard too fast, you'll just burn yourself out and stop altogether.
If you're driving for more than two hours, stop, revive and survive. Stop at a park or rest area so you can all get out and move.
If your child is in a stroller encourage them to walk for some of the journey.
We know it can be hard to do 60 minutes of activity a day - so start with 10 minutes once or twice a day and build your way up.
