Try mixing things up each week to help work different muscle groups and improve your kids' posture, mobility and balance. Why not watch a clip on YouTube of stretching and do bursts of activity during a TV ad break - the kids can get involved too.
Even if you are physically active, you will still benefit from limiting the amount of time you spend sitting or lying down. If you're travelling, stop at a park or rest areas so you can get out and move, or if your kids are in a stroller encourage them to walk for some of the journey.
Blow bubbles and make a game of the kids chasing, catching and popping them. Make a tally of how many bubbles they catch and see if they can catch one more each time!
