Make a pledge to limit your family’s screen time. Make the most of time spent together and have fun by playing games or getting moving in some way.
Try mixing things up - go bike riding, play touch footy at one of your local ovals, go swimming at a public pool or go for a brisk walk (or even a light jog and see if your kids can keep up).
Kids aged five and over should limit watching TV or playing electronic games for entertainment to no more than two hours per day.
Break up long periods of sitting as often as possible by taking regular breaks and walking somewhere - break it up into three 10 minute walks during your day!
