Get more out of 'tummy time' - lay on the floor with your baby and place toys around them to encourage grasping, reaching, leg kicking and head lifting.
Don't rush things! If you or a member of your family are struggling to be active, start with what you can do and build it up over time. Check with your GP or health professional on what's best for you and your family.
Need something from the local shops? Leave the car at home and walk instead.
If your child is in a stroller encourage them to walk for some of the journey.
