Tips to get your family into life

  • One weekend a month try not to focus on all the jobs you have to do around the house and take some time out to connect with those who are important to you.

  • Try to give your kids your full attention if they're telling you about their day - it'll remind them just how important they are to you.

  • Make bedrooms TV and computer free zones.

  • Doing physical activity as a family will help you all to stick to your new routine - it's much more fun being active together!

  • If your family finds it hard to disconnect from digital media, try putting your laptop, smartphone and other devices in a cupboard or somewhere out of sight for a set period of time.
