Try to eat some meals with the whole family. Sharing meals is a great way to keep across what's going on in everyone's lives.
When your kids get frustrated, it can sometimes be too much to handle. Hang in there and try to repeat back what you think they're feeling. It will help them learn to express themselves and over time it will help make them feel respected, comforted and cope with their emotions better.
Kids aged five and over should limit watching TV or playing electronic games for entertainment to no more than two hours per day.
