A good way to make sure you're regularly spending time with others is to set up a monthly get-together. Whether it's going to your mothers' group with the kids, or having a healthy afternoon tea at someone's house, set up a monthly time to meet and see if you can alternate locations.
Make an effort to get to know your neighbours or other people living in your street. Encourage your kids to make friends and play with the kids next door, or simply say "Hi!" when you're putting out the bins.
Make a pledge to limit your family's screen time. Make the most of time spent together and have fun by playing games or getting moving in some way.
Try to turn the TV off while eating a meal together to avoid any distractions.
