Challenge your family to move more

Make time to be active as a family in your backyard or local park and play some sport such as cricket or footy, or have a running race.
Enjoy the swings, slide and other equipment in your local park. Pretend the bark is hot coals and see if each of you can cross the play area without touching the ground.
Set up a ‘crazy golf’ course using items from around the house, like blocks, cushions, cardboard boxes and plastic cups for the holes. Stage a family tournament!
Make time this week to incorporate some strength building exercise. The playground is a good place to start. Use the monkey bars to lift yourself up, do lunges against a park bench or step-ups. Every little bit counts.
