Challenge your family to get into life
These are challenges to help your family get more out of life – but they're so much fun, they won’t really feel that challenging at all! Plus, you can try our handy tips to help get you started.


  • Let your family create their own meal - buffet style! Place all the toppings on the bench or table and allow family members to prepare their own Fajitas, wraps or salads.  

  • Can your family eat a meal together twice over the course of a week? If you can't get the whole family together at once get as many family members together as you can.

  • Can your family try a 'no screen day' once a week for the next month? That's no TV, social media, gaming or anything else you do behind a screen on the set day you allocate. Get all the family to tell their digital and real-life friends and family which night is your no screen night, then if they see you online they can remind you of your commitment.

  • Try having a TV free Friday where instead of watching TV you do something together as a family or with extended family or friends.

  • During the ad breaks, mute the sound on the TV and take turns calling out an animal name. Everyone has to move like that animal to a finish line (or the end of the ad break!). Make it more fun by making the animal noise too! You could also use this challenge to break up time spent sitting behind the computer or game device and schedule breaks.
