Challenge your family to eat well
A great way to change your family’s eating habits for the better is to set yourselves a challenge. We've even created some tips to help you start eating better today!


  • Try one recipe from the Good Habits Recipe collection and don't forget to record it on your Habit tracker.

  • Can you and your family cut down by one sugary drink a day for one week? If you don't succeed one week, don’t beat yourself up and try again the next week.

  • Can you make a fruit face or other creation out of fruit this week? You could use apricots as eyes, a banana as a mouth, or any other creation you can think of… then eat it all up!

  • Even if you’re not experienced in the kitchen, cook a simple, healthy meal at home from our Recipe collection – with the kids’ help, of course! 

  • Think beyond the dinner table and add vegies to your family's breakfast for two or three days of the week (if you don't already!). Try reduced salt baked beans on wholegrain toast, or poached eggs with mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach. Or, use your leftover vegies from the night before to make a super quick vegie omelette in the morning.
