Challenge your family to eat well
A great way to change your family’s eating habits for the better is to set yourselves a challenge. We've even created some tips to help you start eating better today!
Think beyond the dinner table and have veggies in your family's breakfast every day this week (if you don't already!). Try avocado, rocket and tomato on wholegrain toast, or poached eggs with mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach. Or, use your left over veggies from the night before to make a super quick veggie omelette in the morning.
Even if you’re not experienced in the kitchen, cook a simple, healthy meal at home from our Recipe collection – with the kids’ help, of course!
Challenge your kids to help you with dinner one or two days this week. With your help, they could do anything from washing vegies, putting frozen vegies on an oven tray, stirring the pot on the stove, through to setting the table.
Try for you and your family to cut down by one sugary drink a day for the next week. If you don't succeed one week, don't beat yourself up and try again the next week.
For one week, try not to have any takeaway. Instead, have a go at making our homemade Hamburgers instead.
