Try mixing things up - go bike riding, play touch footy at one of your local ovals, go swimming at a public pool or go for a brisk walk (or even a light jog and see if your kids can keep up).
Build a small garden together as a family - the kids can have fun and learn as they decide which plants to grow in the garden they helped to build.
Rediscover classic playground games with your kids, like hide-and-seek, follow the leader, stuck in the mud, or tip/tag games.
If you're self-conscious about your body, start by being active with a partner or friend - or your whole family. Strength in numbers!
