Try to limit the time your kids spend sitting or lying down. To get the kids moving more, get the kids to move in the ad breaks of their favourite TV show.
If your child is in a stroller encourage them to walk for some of the journey.
Try to keep family activities varied, and be sure to let your children take turns choosing what activity the family will do next.
Get the kids involved in the garden. They can help with tasks like digging holes for plants, carrying watering cans or raking leaves into piles.
Try mixing things up each week to help work different muscle groups and improve your kids' posture, mobility and balance. Why not watch a clip on YouTube of stretching and do bursts of activity during a TV ad break - the kids can get involved too.
