We know it can be hard to do 60 minutes of activity a day - so start with 10 minutes once or twice a day and build your way up.
Play with the family dog. Kicking or throwing the ball for the dog will keep everyone on the move. After all, if anyone can keep up with the kids, it's your dog!
Set your phone or computer alarm to remind the family to stand up and get moving every 30 minutes when you're at home. You could all march on the spot together or even go for a short walk around the house or the block.

Next time why not walk to the shops instead of driving? It's a great chance to talk with your kids, or maybe even play a game of 'I spy' or 'Spot the object' along the way.
