Tips to help your family sit less and move more

We’ve got a whole library of practical tips to help you and your family get moving! Keep it fun by trying out some of our challenges, too.

  • Try some backyard cricket, soccer or basketball - not only will your kids have fun, it will help everyone sleep better and give you more energy tomorrow.

  • Pretending to move like different animals is a fun way for your kids to be active, become more aware of their bodies and to learn along the way. Download our indoor or outdoor dice games to get your family moving!

  • Blow bubbles and make a game of the kids chasing, catching and popping them. Make a tally of how many bubbles they catch and see if they can catch one more each time!

  • Physical activity doesn't always need to be organised sport, or going to the gym - it can be as simple as finding fun ways to move your body.

  • Bring the bikes, scooters and ball so the kids can play while you work out!
