Rediscover classic playground games with your kids, like hide-and-seek, follow the leader, stuck in the mud, or tip/tag games.
Encourage your kids to create, imagine and choose their own play. They'll be learning creative play and independence (e.g. climbing a tree or building a cubby house out of chairs under sheets).
Set aside a morning for a brisk walk around the lake with the family - the kids can take their bikes or scooters.
Try to mix things up - play with a frisbee or skipping rope, or go for a jog while the kids ride their bikes.
Make sure you get to put your feet up at some point too! Rest is also important to recovery, particularly if you are on your feet or on the go all day every day.
