Tips to help your family sit less and move more

We’ve got a whole library of practical tips to help you and your family get moving! Keep it fun by trying out some of our challenges, too.


  • Rediscover classic playground games with your kids, like hide-and-seek, follow the leader, stuck in the mud, or tip/tag games.

  • Bring the bikes, scooters and ball so the kids can play while you work out!

  • Playing with balloons can be fun and active for all ages. Join the kids in a game of punching, kicking or throwing balloons and keeping them off the ground for as long as they can.

  • Walking is a fantastic exercise that's low impact yet very effective at keeping you healthy. Try using our Habit tracker to keep a track of how often your family gets moving.

  • Try to mix things up - play with a frisbee or skipping rope, or go for a jog while the kids ride their bikes.
