With a few pointers from the tips below, you and your family could get more out of every day. Or, try some of our challenges to really get things rolling!
Try using incentives to get your kids to want to eat at the table. Your younger ones could blow out a candle at the end of the meal and older kids could light the candle (under parental supervision).
If it's raining outside, move the fun indoors with a dance competition, play games with balloons or soft balls, or head to your local indoor swimming pool.
It can sometimes be difficult to get everyone together for dinner, so why not start the day together as a family instead? Eating breakfast together is a great way to share what the day's plans are and get everyone off to a positive start!
Consider joining a community group or club in your local area. You could try anything from a sporting group to a special interest group for things like photography, craft or cooking. Go to the Connect and Participate Expo to find a club for you and your family.
Helping others - whether they're friends, family or strangers, is a great way to give back and make yourself feel good.
