With a few pointers from the tips below, you and your family could get more out of every day. Or, try some of our challenges to really get things rolling!
When you're at the shops with the kids, let them help pay for things, scan your groceries, help pack the bags, and have conversations with shop assistants. You'll probably both get a kick out of it!
Try to eat some meals with the whole family. Sharing meals is a great way to keep across what's going on in everyone's lives.
Cuddle up in bed with a pile of books and read with your child or tell them stories from your childhood and have a giggle about funny things from "the olden days".
Have a look at what's on at your local Communities@Work community centre. Often there are free classes or groups you can join with other like-minded people and families.
Give your kids chances to practice talking with others and learn how to listen and be understood, share, take turns, follow rules and be kind and helpful.
