Challenge your family to move more

Teach your kids two new games this week that you might have played when you were a child. Skipping rope games, hide and seek, Mr. Wolf… the list goes on. It's a great way to share your childhood and connect with your kids.
Get the family to do three different activities listed in the Resources section by the time your family's Good Habits for Life program is finished.
Challenge your family this week to do a 30 minute walk. Once you are comfortable with this, move to a brisk walk and if you are physically able to, progress to a jog. It does not have to be for a long time or distance, just take small steps to get started.
Enjoy the swings, slide and other equipment in your local park. Pretend the bark is hot coals and see if each of you can cross the play area without touching the ground.
