These are challenges to help your family get more out of life – but they're so much fun, they won’t really feel that challenging at all! Plus, you can try our handy tips to help get you started.


  • Can you all get up and move about in every ad break during your favourite TV show this week? 

  • Take a walk to meet some neighbours in your street that you haven’t met yet. This challenge is a great confidence booster for both adults and children, and an opportunity to nurture new friendships.

  • Set out on a stroll and see if you can say hello to some of the people you come across. Encourage your kids to trust their instincts when deciding who they do or do not want to greet. Get to know some people along your walking route.

  • Get all the family to tell their digital and real-life friends and family which night is your no screen night, then if they see you online they can remind you of your commitment.

  • Can your family try a 'no screen day' once a week for the next month? That's no TV, social media, gaming or anything else you do behind a screen on the set day you allocate.
